Transmission Pathway Visualisation Tool
This tool uses PatchSim which is a simulation tool, through which, it provides a
visualisation of how the disease might spread across multiple locations.
At present, the tool showcases the spread of FMDV across districts. The tool simulates the
disease outbreak in different areas for a period of 6 months, based on the connectivity between
districts.
In order to simulate select the district from the dropdown menu, in which the infection is supposed to be seeded. Provide the number of animals infected in that particlar district by adjusting the slider. Once the required parameters are submitted, the tool runs the PatchSim model in the background and it displays an animation of the infection spread, starting from the seeded district. The infection spread can be visualised on the Leaflet map. The timeline slider allows the user to get the case count at any interested time point.
